Paraguay’s best places to go birdwatching include Laguna Blanca National Park, Mbaracayú Biosphere Reserve, and San Rafael Reserve. The peak birding season in Paraguay generally coincides with the austral spring and early summer, from September to December. Many bird species are in their breeding plumage during this time, and the weather is typically more favorable for birdwatching.
