Bhutan is a fantastic place to go birding, as the country’s government is committed to conserving its environment. Over 60% of the forest coverage must be maintained at all times by law. Some popular birding sites in the nation include the Jigme Dorji National Park, the Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Phobjikha Valley; the best time to see them is in the spring and the fall.
