Birds of Tajikistan

Tajikistan is home to over 400 species of birds. The habitats seen in the country include open woodlands, xeric shrubbery, alpine tundra, semi-desert areas, and steppes. Naturally, this environmental diversity leads to multiple avian species visiting the country. Some birds seen here include the Chukar Partridge, the Himalayan Snowcock, and the Golden Eagle.
