Birds of Ukraine

Over 400 avifauna live in the nation of Ukraine. The country is covered with mixed forests, with the most common trees being pine, birch, and oak. This vegetation type supports birds like raptors, songbirds, and passerine birds, who tend to nest in those trees.

The national bird of Ukraine is the Common Nightingale. Other notable avian species include the Common Buzzard, the Common Kestrel, and the Eurasian Sparrowhawk.
